Primary outifelder with a lean and atheltic frame. Worked with aggressive and confident actions in the outifeld. Showed foot speed with good angles while working through the ball well. Threw from a lower slot and reached 69 mph on throws. Left-handed hitter with a wide, slightly open base. Displayed excellent hand speed on an inside bat path. Generates a good amount of whip and bat speed. Torques the hips very well. Projects very well defnesively and offensively. Named to the 2022 13U/14U Florida Showcase Top Prospect List.

Personal Statement

  • My name is Justin Edwards, I currently attend Riverview High School in Riverview Florida and my graduation year is 2026.  My current GPA is 3.7 and I am taking honors classes.  During my freshmen year I was awarded a varsity letter for performance improvement, good character and contribution to team success.  I was also one of the only freshmen to lead in my district with one of the highest numbers of stolen bases.  I am interested in studying Business Management and playing College baseball. I spend my summers with my family, playing baseball, training, and volunteering at different summer youth camps.  I am a hard worker who likes to encourage and support those around me and I enjoy seeing my team win and my teammates succeed on and off the field.  I am a coachable player who is willing to learn and grow from my coaches, teachers and my parents.  In my free time I enjoy fishing, gaming and hanging out with friend and teammates.
