Personal Statement

My name is Florencia Caceres Heisecke, and my friends call me Foy or Flor. I was born in Paraguay, lived in Africa (Ghana), and moved to Miami when I was 2 years old. I like to listen to music, go to the beach and spend time with my friends. I like to play all sports, especially soccer and basketball, but also played futsal, flag football, volleyball and ran cross country in school. 

I have focused in soccer for the past 10 years, especially travel, playing for my club FKK in the ECNL, and for Paraguay National U17 team since I was 14 years old. I have international experience playing in Colombia, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Denmark and Paraguay. I really believe I can contribute a lot to a college soccer program. I play the 6, but also like to play the 8, 10 and 4/5. I have a good balance of defensive and attacking skills especially with possesion. My player references are Sergio Busquets and Aitana Bonmati.

My short term goal was to qualify with Paraguay to the U17 Word Cup in Morocco 2025, which we not only achieved, but also we have won the South American Championship for the first time ever. We have also secured a spot with my team in ECNL playoffs, playing in the North American Cup. My next goal is to win the World Cup with Paraguay in Morocco 2025. 

I will also like to get a college degree and play for a competitive soccer program and win a NCAA title, and play in the majors World Cup, and professionally in Europe.
