Personal Statement

My name is Luke Volpe, a student athlete graduating from Johns Creek High School in 2026. As a two-sport athlete I lettered in baseball and football my sophomore year. My primary position is catcher, also playing shortstop and third base. I am aggressive at the plate and on the bases. I want to play baseball in college at a competitive academic and athletic school. I have a passion for the game and love putting in the work required to achieve my goals. With a focus on improving strength, agility, and skill development, in addition to athletics, I prioritize academics, recognizing the importance of balancing academics and sports. While I have an interest in math and science I have not yet decided on a specific major. I am committed to academics through a focus on time management and an active approach to learning. I am a hardworking and focused individual with a good work ethic who believes in preparation and execution. I am eager to showcase my skills, dedication and passion for the game to your team.
