Personal Statement
My name is Daniel DeFeo. I am a 6 foot 255 pound freshman in the class of 2025. I started varsity as a right guard my freshman season and made second team all conference. That was truly an honor and an amazing experience to start varsity as a freshman and that helped me plan out my dreams for the rest of my high school career and my future college career. I pride myself on being a student of the game and a hard worker and leader on and off the field and in school. I was one of a handful of football players, and the only freshman, to be invited to attend the George Maxwell Leadership luncheon in Atlantic City NJ this year and I am currently a part of my football teams Leadership Council. I received an Above and Beyond recognition from my Athletic Director and was the recipient of the “King Stang” award, which is awarded to one offensive lineman, at the annual football banquet at the completion of my freshman season. I am currently the only freshman to achieve the 1000-pound club in the weight room and I am ten pounds away from breaking my high school’s squat record. During the off season I joined the wrestling team as a heavy weight and participated in Track and Field throwing the discus and shot put to help maintain my strength, agility and stamina. I currently take all honors courses and maintain an A average. Football is in my blood. I live, sleep and dream football. I know with hard work and determination I have everything I need inside me to continue to get better at the game and to achieve my goals and dreams in life. I want to be a part of an elite college football team, where I can continue to grow as an athlete, a student and a person. Everything I do, on and off the field, is building a path to achieving my dreams.
