Personal Statement

I am Eli Manzanares, a 6’0”, 198-pound senior quarterback at North High School in Phoenix, Arizona. With a 4.0 GPA, I’ve earned recognition on the Principal’s List and the All-Academic Team while also being named to the All-Region Team in 2025.

As a varsity starting quarterback and team captain, I’ve built my game around accuracy, pocket awareness, and leadership. My ability to remain calm under pressure and elevate the play of my teammates has been the foundation of my success. Coaches and teammates trust me to lead with consistency, toughness, and relentless effort.

My academic achievements are just as important as my athletic performance. Balancing a rigorous course load while competing at a high level has shaped me into a disciplined, focused, and resilient student-athlete.

I am driven to excel at the next level, not just as a quarterback, but as a leader who brings value to the classroom, the field, and the campus community. My goal is to contribute to a college program that values hard work, high character, and the pursuit of excellence.

Metrics were collected through a variety of drills during the Wilson QBX camps where players threw footballs using Wilson X Connected QB tracking technology embedded in each ball.
