Personal Statement
Football has played a very important role in my life, starting when I was just 5 years old. I have found that I can translate football and the strong work ethic into almost every area of my life. My Christian faith is also very important to me, and I continue to develop my relationship with God. My favorite subject in school is history. In my frosh year of football, I played several positions; inside and outside linebacker, long snapper and special teams. I had a lot of success. My sophomore year on varsity, I played outside linebacker and special teams. Track is a big part of my off-season training, including conditioning and improving my speed. I know playing football in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and given the chance I know I will be a valuable member of any team.

Training
- Socal GameChangers2 years experienceThey have a linebacker specific training ran by Curtis Bolton and Nathan Bolton who are former professional and collegiate athletes respectively. I started going to following my sophomore season and it propelled me in a great direction
- Weight Lifting5 years experienceI've lifted in my home gym as well as a commercial gyms.
- Rubio Long Snapping1 years experienceI was awarded 4 Stars at a Rubio Long Snapping camp as well as a message: Joshua Baker was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Southern California on March 9th, 2025. Baker has a good frame and is built well as a Long Snapper. His starting form is good and sets a solid base. Baker delivers a really good pop on his ball. The spiral is tight, making it easy to catch. Baker’s snaps are easy to catch every time. When he’s on, Baker is very on and can snap a college level bal. Consistency is the key to Baker’s greatness.
