Personal Statement

I am looking to not only play for a college baseball team but earn a degree for my preferred field of study. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am coach-able and love new people. I had made all state academics for wrestling two years in a row, meaning that I had maintained above or a 3.5 gpa for the whole season. I made varsity for my baseball team my freshman year and got little to none playing time. I kept looking forward and waited for my shot. This past year, my sophmore year, I tried a new position. I went for the starting catching spot, although it isn’t my primary position, I did fantastic. Winning first team all conference and batting .500 as a sophomore.
