Personal Statement

My name is Ian Makai Harris, I'm a Senior at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic School, in Dumfries, VA. I'm very passionate about the game of football and training to perfect my skills. I play Slot Receiver and also Defensive Back. My favorite subjects in school are math and science. My goals are to gain a scholarship playing football at the next but, willing to walk on.  I also plan on pursuing a career in Sports Medicine, to help athletes like myself recover from any injuries. I am also interested in pursuing a degree in Nursing.  I'm looking for an opportunity to join a  program that will allow my to reach my academic goals while playing the sport that I love, and increasing my skills. I'm a person who learns quickly, once I have been taught the correct steps. I'm a hard worker. I treat people with respect and dignity. I am coachable and willing to learn.
