Personal Statement

I am a 6'5" 270 pound Offensive Left Tackle from Bellevue, Washington. I am a junior at Issaquah High School and I am taking classes at Bellevue College.  This year, I started on the Issaquah High School's varsity team and I made All KingCo's second team as an Offensive Tackle.  I currently have a 3.21 unweighted GPA / 3.5 weighted GPA.

The reason i want to play football in college is that I believe football is the greatest team sport and I love playing the game. As a three sport athlete in football, wrestling and lacrosse, I am used to hard work and challenging myself. I am looking for a smaller school so I can build stronger bonds with teammates and classmates.  At school I want to find the right balance between strong academics and competitive football. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of business. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one that values hard work and building each other up. I believe my best fit would be at the D1 or D2 level although I will absolutely consider all higher learning institution opportunities.

I want to play football in college because I believe it is the most physically demanding team sport and I want to be challenged both academically and physically.
