Personal Statement

It’s my desire to be part of an organization that strives to be the best, to win and push each player to be better than they think they could be.  I have been playing football and baseball since I could walk.  I am a really good pitcher with a dynamic fastball and changeup and sit down most batters I face, I also played 3rd base and left field because of my throwing strength.  I am 6'1", 185 at 16 years old, large 9.2-inch hands with a quick release, spin and accuracy, I'm still growing and nowhere close to being full height.  I don't get spooked or get tunnel vision and can see the entire field, reading the defense before the snap, opens my options as a dual threat QB. 

I absolutely love football, I love the competition and I love the trust my coaches place in me. I lead my team last year to a 9-0 Division winning season in 2022 and an 8-2 record in 2023 and was again nominated as the Offensive MVP and I will be the varsity QB for my junior year.  We are a 6A program, playing in one of the toughest districts in all of Texas.  It's my dream to play at the college level and I promise to give 100% to the sport I love.  Placing your confidence in me means everything and it would be an honor to join your team and show you what I am capable of.

I trust in God, my family and my coaches and try everyday to support my team on the field and off.  Workout everyday, study everyday - to be a top QB you have to give 100% on the field, classroom and film room.   I play and live by this mantra - “It's amazing what can be achieved when no one is concerned with who gets the credit".
