Personal Statement

I eat, sleep, and dream about football.  I have always had a passion for football since as long as I can remember. I’m hoping my hard work on and off the field will help me obtain a scholarship to earn my bachelor’s degree.  I will be the first male in my family to get a college education.  Playing football and being on a team has taught me many life lessons.  In a game you have to be adaptable and ready for change at any time, but keeping your focus on the goal.  Being on a team you realize it’s not just about you, but how your actions can help or hurt your team.  I always keep my grades up, I try my best to be a role model, and I always give one hundred percent at practices and games because I know it’s not just about me but my team.
