Mountain Vista High School earned the #4 seed and earned a bye in the first round. They won a 5 Set match against the #5 Seed Valor Christian HS in the 2nd Round. In the 3rd round, they lost a tough 4 set match to #1 seed Cherry Creek HS. They then beat #11 seed Legend to earn a spot in the semi-finals against Grandview HS where they lost a long 4 set match. Mountain Vista HS finished 3rd in a highly competitive 5A State Tournament.

Personal Statement
With the start of my Junior year of high school volleyball, my desire to play volleyball competitively in college has only strengthened. The recruiting process has taught me a lot about myself and what I really want in a college. I'm excited to continue the recruiting process and finding the school that is the best match for me.
As one of our top returning players, I'm looking forward to the upcoming High School season. Our team finished 3rd in the Colorado 5A State tournament last year and despite graduating 7 seniors last year, we're looking to compete again for a State Championship!
Academics have always been a priority in my family and I've worked hard to get good grades. In the past 2 years, I have challenged myself by taking several AP and Honors classes and have a weighted cumulative GPA of 4.04 and an unweighted GPA of 3.9. I have earned an Academic letter both years of high school so far. Now into my junior year, I will be taking more AP courses and will continue challenging myself in school and in my extracurricular activities!
I'm interested in studying Biology in college with the goal of a career in Healthcare.
