Personal Statement

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to view my recruiting profile! My name is Samantha and I'm a junior at Elizabeth High School. I've been playing volleyball for about 6 years now, including five club seasons, soon to be six. I play on the varsity volleyball team for my school and I play on the top team for my age at my volleyball club. Playing a competitive sport such as volleyball has taught me to manage my time and schedule, to work hard for all my goals, to respect the achievements of others around me, and to embrace the opportunities I've been given. I have a goal to make an impact on whatever team I end up playing for in college. I want to contribute to a positive, but competitive, environment. I am looking for a college with a competitive academic program and a strong volleyball program.
