Personal Statement
I know that if someone is reading this they are trying to evaluate me on the possibility of playing football for them. I know that is the most important part of this profile. However, I can only tell you where I am NOW in my life. I am 16 years old. I love to play football and I can't stand losing. Everyday I give 100% to our program which is extremely hard and competitive. I came to DePaul because its in the highest level of high school football in New Jersey. I get up every school day at 5am and my day doesn't end until 9pm. I train Saturday and Sunday. I take instruction well and know I am part of a team and not an individual athlete. I think I have a lot to offer a team. I adapt well to my role. I can catch the ball and I am starting to use my size to take advantage of the defense. I have my Junior and Senior years coming up and I will let the film show my progress. Like every high school player I dream of playing in the NFL. My dad says that I should take things one step at a time. So my dream right now is to play for a academically strong D1 college and get a degree I can use to help me achieve whatever I decide I want to do. I am starting to be interested in different careers such as business. I want to focus on getting my GPA up to as close to 4.0 as I can. I know all these things are going to get harder in college. With the support of my coaches and family all I can do now is work hard...study hard and catch the ball. I hope you know a little more about me now.
