Personal Statement

My name is Neil Summers and I am a student-athlete from Laramie, Wyoming. My ultimate goal is to compete at a high level and represent my school in both sport and academics. I am a self-disciplined, respectful and coachable player. I have worked hard to develop each aspect of my game including; my handle, footwork, shooting touch, and strong big-man post game. I am a relentless rebounder and use my body well. I have quick feet and great body control for my solid build and pride myself on individual and team defense. A noticeable attribute is my basketball IQ; my ability to read and react, my court awareness and aptitude to see the floor, move the ball and make the extra pass. I am excited for the opportunity to join a program that champions greatness in the classroom, on the court and is a building block for lifetime achievements.
