Personal Statement

To my future coaches, 

What makes me a good fit for your team is my work ethic, leadership ability, and overall love of the game.  I can promise you that nobody will work harder than I do to improve my game and strengthen my team.   I am lucky to have several trainers who I can call family, who have prepared me to play at the highest level.  Along with my parents, coaches and teammates, I contribute my success on the field to Aaron Shafer, Adam Shafer, Chris Dameron, Jordan Hankins, and Scott Maine.  All are amazing individuals with a wealth of baseball experience at the highest levels.  Currently I teach younger catchers through a local organization and assist three local 13U teams with their pitchers and catchers.  I love sharing what I know and watching young athletes fall in love with the positions I know best.  Not only am I a strong catcher and pitcher, but I also have a lot of game experience at 1st, 3rd, and outfield.  This makes me a well rounded player who can assist my team wherever I am needed.  

I am a young man who knows what he wants in life which is to play baseball as long as I can at the highest level possible while pursuing an engineering or business degree with my faith, family, and friends in my heart and mind at all times.
