Personal Statement

    My name is Andrew Thomas. I am in 12th grade at Unity High School in Tolono, Illinois. I  play AAU basketball with Indiana Elite . I am a point guard and shooting guard.

    I believe my greatest assets include my coach-ability, athleticism, defense, and my driven work ethic. These characteristics are not only evident on the basketball court, but are also exemplified in the classroom, and in other sports as I was part of a state winning cross country team in 2019. I also excelled in a runner-up football state team. I am a goal oriented athlete, and I desire to play at the highest college level that I can. 

    At this time, I have not yet narrowed down a specific major. However, I would like to find the right institution that offers me a strong balance between academics and sports.
