Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Tatum Chase! I am a student-athlete maintaining a 3.82 GPA at Catlin Gabel, the number 1 school in the state. I have participated in the varsity program for two years, often as the starting middle blocker. Although I didn't start playing volleyball until 8th grade, I have quickly ascended to play at Athena Volleyball Academy's 17-1 team as a sophomore. While COVID-19 has caused many gyms to close, having to refrain from playing the sport I love has only reinforced how passionate I truly am about the sport and has helped me realize that I would love to be able to play in college.
