Personal Statement
I am Tyler Berry, and I am in the class of 2023. My positions in football is OLB/RB/Special Teams. My goal is to have a career in football at the collegiate level. I am a great asset to any college team because I am coachable, driven, and I enjoy the aggressive aspects of football. I also enjoy pushing my limits and growing as a person and a player. I first fell in love with football when I was six years old, and my dad showed me a video of Herschel Walker playing. It was got me interested in the game. I played varsity football throughout middle school and my freshman year. Unfortunately, I was injured and unable to play my junior year. I took my time off to improve my speed and skills, rehabilitate, and gain knowledge in the game to be able to excel my senior year.I use football to relieve stress and to push myself up during times when I am down, and I am grateful for to God for giving me the opportunity to play. Football has given me not just friends but brothers that I can rely on and off the field. It has given me discipline and tolerance to difficult tasks. I am a student athlete that emphasizes the importances of academics as well as athletics.
