Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Jaden Richard Tate Jones.  I am currently a sophmore at Many High School in Many, Louisiana. I live with at home with my mom, stepdad, and two older brothers.  Both of my brothers played football for Many as well.  I am a member of the Beta Club at school and the president of the Library Club.  So far I have maintained a gpa of no less than 3.75.

I have always known that I wanted to go to college, although I haven't decided exactly what I want to study when I go to college.  History and science do interest me, but I also excell in math and english.  Mythology interests me the most.  I have studied and read about Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Norse mythology on my own.

I think I would be a good part of any team because of my drive. I drive for success every day. " I have to be better today than yesterday" that's what goes through my mind and what one of the coachs said before he left " Don't think about anything if its lifting weights or just everyday things, it's one more rep, not ten more, not twenty but it's just one more even if you do have ten think one more rep." I also keep what he asked me to do in my mind before he left and that was to keep my work ethic because he said I had one of the best work ethics ever. That is why I think I could be a good part of any team.  I enjoy helping pump up other team members.  Whether it be in the weight room or on the field, I like to encourage everyone to push harder and do better.

I feel that I have many strengths to offer any team.  I am absolutely a team player, have a lot of heart for the the game and pride in the team that I play with.
