Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Jalen Kimbrough and i am currently a Junior at South Shore International highschool. I believe i am a good candidate for any school because i believe in hardwork and dedication. Ive always been dedicated to football since at the age of 8. I grew up playing for the oaklawn outlaws starting every year and when i got to 8th grade i had highschools like oaklawn, St. Rita., St laurence and even phillips being interested in me but i chose the school south shore because i wanted to help build and develop a team instead of joining a team that was already successful football wise. I am always in the weight room training to get better any time the school allows me to. I am constantly active during the off-season trying to develop and improve my game. I have very recently just made a top team in the nation for 7 on 7 known as the midwest boom organization and have a bright future ahead of me when the coaches help me improve my game as a Wide Receiver. Due to my highschools lack of players in football i played almost every position including Quarteback, Linebacker, Corner, Safety, KR, PR, Wide Receiver and Long Snapper.
