Personal Statement

My name is Julianna Rocha and I aspire to be a collegiate softball player and major in Nursing.  Through hard work, determination, and trusting the process I will be a collegiate student-athlete.  I believe in my abilities, in my teammates, and in my coaches.  What I believe separates me from most is my true team first mindset.  I love competing and I know deep down that softball is a team sport.  To be successful it takes more than hard work.  You have to be able to deal with failure, trust your coaches, and pick up your teammates.  If you are looking for a player; who plays the hot corners, who is the ultimate competitor, who picks up her teammates, who looks to hurt the softball, and who competes until the last pitch then I am that student-athlete.
