Personal Statement

One obstacle I’ve had to overcome at every level of football is being smaller than most players at my position.  Over the years, I have started to embrace the struggle to overcome my size by proving to the coaches that I can outwork the bigger guys.  I've been involved with football ever since I was a little kid.  Going to all the local football games and watching my favorite teams on tv I developed my passion for football.  Growing up playing multiple sports I naturally gravitated to the teamwork aspect of football.   Working together and sometimes sacrificing your body for a common goal has taught me determination.  My academic goals for high school are to maintain above a 4.0 GPA and to score beyond a 1300 on my SAT.  After high school, I look forward to being a contributing factor as a long snapper while pursuing a Math Degree in college.
