Personal Statement

From a young age I have always visualized myself competing as a collegiate athlete and the sport I fell in love with was volleyball! One of my favorite aspects about volleyball is being part of a team. As a team we work and grow together whether we win or lose, at the end of the day we have each other. I have always been known for working hard and pushing past limits whether it be mental or physical. I strive to push myself as well as my teammates, I am a focused, driven, positive, kindhearted leader and I am not afraid of the hard work that comes with the goals I set for myself.  My goals and aspirations include playing volleyball at the collegiate level and being the defensive specialist every team needs and wants. While also working towards becoming an EMT/Paramedic to contribute to society by helping save lives. Regarding academics I have learned it also takes hard work and commitment which I continue to improve upon each year. I am excited to succeed as a college athlete by being a part of your team!
