Personal Statement

My name is William Green III and I am currently enrolled at Benbrook High School, Benbrook, TX.  I'm in the Class of 2021 and am a three sport student athlete.  I love the game of football and am incredibly blessed to have been give the ability, in addition to a strong work ethic, to be able to play this great game.  The title of "Student Athlete" is very important to me and I am giving it everything I have in the classroom and on the football field. I am excited for the future and look forward to being the next great Student Athlete at your University.

What makes me a good candidate for their team? I would have to say my leadership ability along with my drive to help everyone around me better. I know, in any team sport, it is important to have good leadership along with someone who can communicate with everyone on the team. I have always considered myself a leader, which is partly why I love the QB position.  Ultimately, iron sharpens iron and I know I can be a vital part to your program and university. 

What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics? I try to be as humble as possible, don't get me wrong I am very confident in my athletic and academic ability. With that being said, I am confident I am a person of high moral character, strong athletic work ethic and am extremely serious about my academic success. I make sure I am surrounding myself with strong men of character to help keep me honest in my athletic/academic ability.

In closing, I am excited to show you I am the recruit you want to represent your University and Football Program.  I am working on getting my SAT and ACT test scheduled and will provide those results as soon as possible.  I am also taking in everything I can at some of the camps I am attending over the summer so I can improve my game.  Thank you again for taking the time to consider me as a recruit and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
