Personal Statement

My name is Callie Palecki.  I have played all positions on the court, but my passion is libero.  

I started playing volleyball at the age of 7 years, and I knew at that time that the sport would be apart of my life for many years to come.

When I step on the court, I not only strive to improve my skills but my teams as well.  I am a coachable individual that wants to be challenged at all times.  I enjoy the strategic and mental part of playing volleyball, while being competitive at the same time.  I want to better my playing ability and grow as an individual while playing at the highest level possible to gain experience for the future.

 I see my college years to be a  personal growth period.  I plan on majoring in Health.  On the court, I want to be an outstanding player while being a positive influence on my team.  As I grow mentally and physically I will strive to be an asset not only to the team, but the college.  I will conduct myself with respect on and off the field, knowing my actions reflect myself along with my team, coaches and the school I attend.

Academics are just as important to me as my passion for volleyball.  I take pride in challenging myself with college classes and excelling in the class room, while maintaining a  3.56 GPA.
