Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Jamie Robertson, and I'm a 5'11" Junior at Palisades Charter High (Class of 2022).  Despite all the challenges we faced this year due to COVID, I'm still really excited about the prospect of playing college volleyball!  I'm working hard to make sure I am ready for that opportunity.

I'm a starter on the Palisades Charter High School Varsity team, playing Middle Blocker and occasionally Oppo.  This year, we wont the City Championship Open Division. I'm very excited about the new club I'm with this year, SoCal Legends, with Sina Aghassy.  I've worked hard to keep my skills fresh with outdoor clinics, strength training, and regular workouts at home, and our team is ranked 10th in SCVA.

I'm planning to major in engineering, science, design, or maybe a combination of all three!  I'm very active in Girl Scouts and love outdoor activities, art, music, and making friends. One of my greatest life experiences is growing up and attending schools in a diverse city.
