Personal Statement

My name is Cary Grant. I live in New Orleans, Louisiana. I’m 6”2 180 and I’m a Student Athlete here at the PERENNIAL powerhouse WARREN EASTON EAGLES 🦅.. I play DB / OLB(BUCK) position here at WARREN EASTON. I’m 15 years old and I’m in the C/O 22. To let you know a little about myself I’m on the STUDENT COUNCIL and I’m a member of the SILVER BACKS, which is a mentoring group here at WARREN EASTON. On the football side I own the requisite build for a power 5 football player, Lean and Athletic with space to eclipse the 200 pound plateau. I had strong production on Special Teams and as a role player as a Sophomore I helped my Team reach the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME Back to Back played here in the NEW ORLEANS SUPERDOME. Even though we came up short we are CHAMPIONS and we expect to be in the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP every YEAR. Me as a player I have impressive anticipatory traits and I diagnose plays quickly vs the RUN or the PASS. I close downhill very fast and I show an eager willingness to participate vs the run. I have really good pursuit ability to the perimeter. Solid tackler and I use good angles. I arrive with a PURPOSE and POP. I have really good recovery speed and I’m a natural CENTER FIELDER in coverage if needed. I’m very disruptive at the catch point and I LOVE TAKEAWAYS. Also very good in man coverage and striving to get better and COACHED up. I would love to be part of your program and the Special things y’all have going.
