Personal Statement

I am a 6"4, 290lb Defensive Tackle/Defensive End from Chicago, IL. I have been playing football for 8 years now. Since attending high school, I have started on the Varsity team since I’ve been a freshman.  I have a 2.4 GPA. I am looking for a university where I can excel in the classroom first, as well as contributing to a great football program. Also, I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Science and Mathematics. Athletically, I would prefer an environment where I can provide the most impact on my team as possible. I feel confident that I can make it into a DI college, but I am also welcome to all other collegiate offers.
