Personal Statement

My name is Makayla Murphy, I'm a freshman at Sutherlin High School with a 4.0 g.p.a.  I believe that I'm the true definition of eat, sleep and breath volleyball.  It's been my goal since the fourth grade to play volleyball for a collegiate program.  Each year I invest in my volleyball skills by committing to my club, attend camps, and participate in 'open' gym with the local high school team. My drive for this sport is unimaginable and my passion towards exceeding my goals is beyond words.  I am highly competitive in everything including volleyball, sports, grades and in life.
