Personal Statement

My name is Jolie McClellan and I am a determined athlete with a positive and optimistic personality. I am an athlete that is dedicated to pushing myself to reaching my potential. I am striving to play at a collegiate level to have an opportunity that will not only strengthen my athletic abilities, but also shape my character. If I get the opportunity to play for a college I will compete to my best ability and maintain a positive and encouraging attitude. When I compete, I do it humbly for the glory of God.

There have been many positive influences on my life and my athletic career. My parents and coaches have always helped me and wanted what was best for me and seeing my potential. The largest influence in my life is God. Everything that I do is for the glory of God and I play because God gave me the ability to. Praying before every competition helps me remember that I am playing for something much larger than me. 

Academically, my goals for high school are to remain in A+ Program and graduate with GPA 3.7+. For college my academic goals are to take challenging courses that will help lead me to success in the career field that I choose to pursue.
