Personal Statement
Hello my name is Dakota Meisel, I am a 2020 O-Line/D-lineman from Oshkosh West High School in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. My main goals are to be the best person I can be both on and off the field and to get out into the community and volunteer my time when I can whether it is at a retirement home or a nature center, just to name a few. Also, I love to compete and win a lot of football games. I always put in maximum effort to try and make myself as well as my teammates around me better. I do not take any plays off and I try to play each play like it is my last. I am always trying to pick up my teammates after a mistake or helping them to understand an assignment or play. Moreover, I try to be a leader and role model in everything whether it be on or off the field. I also put a great deal of focus into my schoolwork. I think that success off the field mirrors success on the field. What I mean by that is that you are a student first and then you are an athlete if you were just supposed to be an athlete then a student it would be called athlete-student and not a student athlete. Heretofore, I give everything I have to be the best I can every day, and I strive to make sure i make everyday a good day whether it just be a little part of that day it is better than it just being a terrible day in general.
