Personal Statement

My goal is to obtain a bachelor degree in a sports related field of study while enjoying my passion (football). I intend to make an impact on and off the field. I have a strong work ethic that makes me hungry for success. What makes me a good candidate is my leadership skills and my strong sense of influence. I am a motivator who builds my teammates up and consider myself very coach-able. I'm always searching for ways to get better and have an advantage over the other team. I will also put in the time and effort required in practice to become the best me I can be. What makes me different from other recruits is that although I am 268 pounds I have speed and leverage with my size.  I'm quick and explosive off the ball and have a great since of where the ball is.  My character is very respectful and well mannered. I was raised to answer yes sir, no sir, etc.  I have learned that my classroom efforts have to shine as bright as my athletic work so academics are very important to me. I want to be the smartest on and off the field that I can be.
