The camp consisted of over 350 high school athletes from grades 9-12.The athletes were timed in the 40 yard dash ,vertical jump, 5-10-5 shuttle run, and broad jump . Once the combine testing was completed, the athletes performed numerous drills at their specific position including 1 on 1"s and 7 on 7's

Hunter bested his broad jump at the camp reach 8 foot 4 inches.

I participated in the Football University camp located in Houston Texas. There were a total of 11 linebackers in my group. For 2 days, we concentrated on proper stance, foot drill, hand positioning. We also worked on mam to man, zone and cover 3. During the camp, we performed many 1 on 1 drills as well as 7 on 7's. After the conclusion of the camp, the coaches evaluated each position player. I was selected as a MVP and I am now able to showcase my skills at the Top Gun showcase in Rock Hills South Carolina as well a the first ever Texas Showdown.
Offense/Defense Combine

Hunter participated in the Offense/Defense combine for the state of Louisiana. It was held at St. James high school in Vacherie Louisiana. The camp consisted of over 200 high school athletes. The athletes were timed in the 40 yard dash, 5-10-5 shuttle run, the broad jump and push ups. Once the combine testing was completed, the athletes performed numerous drills at their specific position. 1 on 1"s and 7 on 7's. After the conclusion of all the testing and individual and team drill, the composited scores were released and the MVP's for the camp were announced. Hunter was selected as an MVP at his line-backer position. Receiving this MVP status, Hunter will now be eligible to participate in the Offense/Defense All American bowl in 2018.

I was selected to participate in the Offense / Defense All American bowl. I played for the UC3 Nationals team as the Mike Linebacker. I called all the defensive plays and coverages. I ended up with 9 tackles and a force fumble. Our team won 41-0. Great experience to play with some of the best athletes throughout the United States

Was selected to attend the Football University Top Gun Showcase. At the Top Gun showcase, I worked with coach Lee Woodall on my linebacker position. Coach Lee worked with me on improving my speed, rotating my hips faster in order to change directions. Coach Lee also worked with me on being lighter on my feet, worked on different coverage types as well as working on one on ones, proper tackling techniques, head placement when making a tackle and seven on sevens.

I was selected as the best linebacker in our group to attend the Football University Top Gun showcase in Rock Hills South Carolina. The Top Gun showcase will have the best 25 linebackers from graduating class of 2020 competing for the All Top Gun defensive team to be represented at the US Army All-American bowl.

There were 200 up coming freshman athletes graduating class of 2020 that had been selected to attend this camp. After 3 long days and a total of 32 linebackers from across the US of performing drills, one on one, and 7 on 7's, Hunter was selected to the All Top Gun Defensive team at his linebacker position.

Personal Statement

I'm am a 5'10 200lb outside/middle linebacker playing varsity for the Thibodaux High School tigers. I am a 2020 graduate and this is my forth year as a starter on the varity football team. I have been playing football since the age of seven. Through playing football, I've learned nothing beats dedication and hard-work. I am very dedicated to improving myself to achieve success at the highest levels of the game. I am a self-motivated person who works hard to be a leader, game-charger, and a team player first and foremost. I am a very humble person, but I'm also confident in my abilities. My off season goals consist of adding lean muscle, strength, and speed to myself. Academics are just as important to me as athletics. While I'm currently maintaining a 2.75 G.P.A, I'm looking to improve my cumulative GPA. I'm looking for an environment that will encourage me, but also challenge me academically. I am looking forward to playing at the next level once I graduate.
