Personal Statement
Being able to compete in the freshman conference championship game on Thursday night, to then being one of the first players out on the field in the Varsity cross town rivalry game the next night, was a tough but thrilling experience. Then, in the following week I was able to start in the first ever play off game in my school's history.
A great trait I have is versatility. I have the ability to play multiple positions on the field-- offense, defense, and special teams-- and have let coaches know that whatever they need, I am willing to do for them. This versatility and willingness to contribute wherever my skills and athleticism are needed is something I think sets me apart from a lot of recruits.
Also, I believe that academics are just as and even more important than athletics. I ended my sophomore year with a 3.5 GPA and am tracking to graduate with honors. Being that education is my number one priority for college, I want to make sure I find the best college that fits me in order to be successful in life outside of football and athletics.
