Personal Statement
Dear Respected Coaches,
My name is Weston Bimstefer. My lacrosse team mates like to call me “The Tank.” I have been playing lacrosse since I was 7 years old. I have always played defense. There is nothing more exciting to me than being on the lacrosse field! I love everything about the game; from preparation, to practice, to watching game film and naturally, competing in a game! In fact, when I am not on the field myself,I am lifting 3 days a week, hitting the speed bag for hand quickness, working on my speed and agility with a trainer 3 days a week and I volunteer to coach defense for recreational and club lacrosse teams. Even more, my Dad, my younger Brother and I attend and watch as many games as possible. We do this with two goals in mind: to spend time together and to learn as much about the game as possible. We are lacrosse fanatics!!
To accomplish this, I have dedicated this year to working on my physical strength, increase my speed and agility, as well as, continuing to master stick skills.
I am very interested in pursuing an education in entrepreneurship, business, accounting or economics in College. I excelled in these courses in high school, and was awarded outstanding achievement awards in both business and business management. I am also a 4 year active member of the FBLA ( Future Business Leaders of America ).
One goal for next year is to be an immediate asset to a lacrosse program as well as a positive influence. My other goal is to play immediately as a freshman and I will work tirelessly to reach my personal goals! I want to be one of the best and a part of a winning team!
I pride myself in my strong work ethic both while on the field and while on my own (lifting weights, running and working on my speed / agility), I thrive on being coached, knowing that a Coach's guidance and direction is there to make me my best. I take great pride myself on setting a good example both on and off the field.
I also have an younger Brother, Grant Bimstefer, who is an exciting 2015 attackman. If your program needs a great attackman who is a great field marshall (feeder & scorer) from attack, take a look at Grant's NCSA Profile, too. He also has a Short HighLight Video as well as an Extended HighLight Video
Respectfully Yours,
Weston Bimstefer
