Personal Statement

I’m fired up to be kicking and punting — and I’m learning at an insane pace. I played soccer since I was four and never played a down of football until this fall, yet after starting to kick footballs in March 2025 I’m already drilling 61-yard field goals, hitting 100% kickoff touchbacks, winning FG competitions at top Big Ten and D1 Texas camps, and charting 92% FGs at a private SEC workout where I was hosted on a 3-hour tour and invited back for a game. In July I earned my first official offer by going perfect on all FGs in camp — capped with two 57-yarders in a row that had the coach saying, “There’s no way this is your first year… we’re making you an offer right here today.” At 6’3”, 220 lbs, 4.0 GPA, and with a lifelong soccer background, I’m a true combo K/P with elite range, accuracy, and drive. I’m fully committed to training, recovery, and improvement every day — from on-field work with top coaches to disciplined recovery (stretching, cold tub, compression boots, sauna, hot tub) — and I’m just getting started.

I have a strong faith and I've focused on being a truly good friend to people, a good steward of my school and community, and I come from a large family successful in sports, US military service (father a US Naval Academy grad and Navy football player), business, and life - I've been brought up the right way with Christian virtues of love, service to others, and loyalty. I seek to play college football because I truly love the sport, the art and science of kicking (and soon to be punting also), and the team camaraderie. While I strive to be the best teammate, football player, and citizen I can be.
