Personal Statement

My name is Jayvion Jordan, and I’ve loved football for as long as I can remember. As young as 5 years old, I had a high football IQ even teaching my mom the game. I’ve always been intentional about competing at a high level, participating in combines and camps to grow as a player. I attended football combines in Charlotte in both 2024 and 2025, and I’ve been nominated multiple years for the Diamond Football Academy Camp, where I’ve also helped my team win championships.

My goal is to play for a reputable college program that will push me to grow as both an athlete and a person. I’ll be starting my freshman year at Independence High School and train with a coach who works with top high school players from Mallard Creek. As an 8th grader, I’ve already matched up with high school athletes during training and in multiple 7-on-7 games.

I primarily play wide receiver but am also versatile enough to contribute as a cornerback and safety. I train 5-6 times a week and take pride in my work ethic, leadership, and ability to make an impact on the field.

Off the field, I’m just as focused consistently making honor roll and earning a 4.0 GPA multiple times. I’m coachable, a team player, and fully committed to putting in the work it takes to reach the next level.
