Personal Statement

I am committed to excelling as a scholar athlete at the college level, both on the field and in the classroom. Every day, I strive to become the best version of myself pushing my limits academically, physically, and mentally. Over these last three years, football has taught me how to be committed 100% to something and how to prioritize what I want for my future compared to what is comfortable right now. I want to play in the NFL one day and each day I work my hardest putting in extra work beyond practice to make sure I give mysel the best shot.  I am also interested in studying psychology in college and whether or not I do make it to the NFL, I want to understand better how I can support the people around me work through thier issues to better themselves. I love the game of football through the game, I aim to continue to develop the discipline, resilience, and character that will shape me into a better man, no matter where life leads me. I want to be part of a program that values a well rounded student athlete and looks for players that understand how to push through adversity and win!
