Personal Statement

     My primary goal in life is to live up to my full potential as an athlete, scholar, leader, and Christian. I have been blessed with a loving and supportive family who always encourages me to better myself while helping others. I strive to be a role model for my younger brothers, teammates, and friends.

      I have grown up playing sports my whole life. I have excelled in soccer, baseball, wrestling, and basketball since early childhood. I love the camaraderie of organized sports and the bonds I have developed with my teammates over the years have been very meaningful to me.  I have learned valuable life lessons on the playing field including how to win gracefully, the joy that comes from success after a season of dedicated commitment, the pain of losing, and how to persevere and come back stronger after a crushing defeat.

     My faith has been an integral part of my success and helps fuel my persistence and dedication to hard work. I derive the strength I need from it to excel academically and in sports. I am committed to pushing myself to the limit while learning and growing from the best coaching  I can find. My ability to learn complex schemes and concepts while adapting quickly is a strong asset to any football team. My conduct, integrity, and character, on and off the field, will be an asset to any team or institution I attend.

     In summary, my love for football is rivaled only by my faith in God and drive to succeed academically. I hope to contribute in a substantial way as I grow into the man I wish to become.
