Personal Statement
I am a hard-working and coachable athlete who will be a junior in the fall of 2025. In my sophomore year I split time between varsity and junior varsity, playing center, at Eastmont high school, which is a perennial playoff team. I take zero hour PE with the intent to improve my strength and agility. I also participate in track in the spring in order to increase my conditioning and agility. When not in sports, I work out with Osborn Power Sports after school. I am drawn to the physicality of football and offensive line. I also like and appreciate how powerlifting and football go hand in hand.
I am extremely coachable, and strive to perfect the techniques that I have been shown. I have learned so much, and improved so much in my first two and a half years of football, that I can't wait to see how far I can take my progress. I have played interior offensive line, tackle and interior defensive line. As center, I have done direct snap and shotgun snap efficiently, and effectively.
My interests are varried. I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, skiing and hunting. I am SCUBA certified, and enjoy snorkeling.
As a student, I currently have a 3.44 cumulative GPA . I have taken honors English, honors biology and am ahead in my credits to graduate. I am a hard worker in the classroom and take my classes very seriously and will graduate in the spring of 2027.
I want to attend a college that will allow me to pursue a technical degree in Sports Medicine, Engineering or Pre-medicine.
Thank you for your consideration.
