Personal Statement

My name is Lane Roberts and I am 15yo and a Sophmore student athlete at DeLand High School in DeLand, FL. I am a second year starting MLB/OLB for the Varsity team and I am on special teams as well. I am a 3 sport athlete competing in football, track and field, and wrestling. I have played football since the age of 5 and have excelled throughout the years leading up to this point. I excell in academics carrying a GPA of 3.875. My love of football has driven my desire to be a leader on and off the field. My ultimate goal is to attend college where I can further my football career, receive a top quality education, and possibly one day make it to the NFL. I feel that my great leadership qualities, excellent academics, and strong athletic ability make me an excellent candidate for your program. Thank you for taking the time to consider myself as part of your organization.
