Personal Statement

            I am a 6’5” Punter from Santa Rosa, California.  I also hold for PATs/FGs and can assist with kickoffs, extra points, field goals, TE and QB if needed. During my freshman year, I played on the junior varsity team at Maria Carrillo High School, and I started attending Rancho Cotate High School in Rohnert Park my sophomore year.  

            I am looking for a good academic school where I can become an integral part of the football program.  My motivation, work ethic and support system, combined with my strength and size, are what set me apart from other athletes.

            My football journey started in the summer of 2022.  The start of high school football conditioning changed who I am today.  I went to the first day of conditioning with a fixed mindset, telling myself I had to be there for conditioning.  But the seniors’ enthusiasm was contagious, and my mindset completely changed.  Then my daily habits changed.  In 8th grade, I had to be pulled out of bed to get to school on time.  Now I have a reason to wake up.  I am up at 6:00 each morning of my own accord, making my breakfast and food for the day, anxious to excel in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the field.  The day my freshman football season ended, I started planning my off-season workouts. In the middle of my sophomore season (October 2023), my coaches noticed my skill as a punter, and I punted in my first game. As a late bloomer, I believe my best is yet to come. 

            I am big, tall, strong & athletic with an ideal frame for a college level Punter. My focus now is honing my technique, working on consistency and continuing to improve my strength & flexibility.

            At the start of my freshman year, I went to football not knowing what to expect.  Now it is what gets me up each morning.  With my motivation and work ethic, I know I can overcome any obstacles and become a valuable part of a football program.
