Personal Statement
Hello,
As a class of 2027 Middle Linebacker and Running back, I have been working on my craft since the age of five. Ever since the first day I stepped on the football field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I work hard, year-round, developing my offensive and defensive skills by participating in football camps, playing in elite games/travel teams, and lifting in the weight room. As a rising freshman, I have been offered a spot on the Varsity team because of my consistently strong performance as a Middle linebacker.
My proven ability to identify opportunities, efficiently move the ball, and reliably execute deep, runs makes me a valuable offensive player and my strong physical defensive skills, mental toughness, and high football IQ shine on the field as a Middle linebacker.
My dedication and hard work are evident both on and off the field. Academics are a priority to me and, as an honor roll student, I study diligently to maintain my 3.5 GPA. On more than one occasion, my school has recognized me as Student of the Month. I also volunteer as a fitness trainer at a local gym during the summers.
I am very coachable – a team leader who tries to lead by example while encouraging my teammates. I enjoy assisting my team with leading exercises and motivating other players to bring their very best onto the field.
It is my goal to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. Ultimately I want to find the right college, offering the highest level of competition possible, where I hope to serve as a great role model to my peers, my community, and make my parents proud.
I will be one of the hardest working players and hardest-working recruits you will find.
