Hello, my name is David Smith, im in the class of 2026, and I attend Otay Ranch Highschool. As a current freshman football player, I am seeking a college scholarship opportunity to help support my academic and athletic pursuits. During my freshman year, I played both middle linebacker and tight end and have since been working to improve my skills and abilities on the field. I am determined to become the best player I can be and am constantly striving for self-improvement through weight training and technical skill development while using and maintaining a growth mindset.

Academics are also of utmost importance to me, and I am proud of my strong academic achievements thus far. I understand that a scholarship is not just an opportunity for athletic recognition, but also a commitment to academic excellence. I am eager to continue my education and earn a 4-year degree in cybersecurity, a field that I am extremely passionate about and believe will provide a fulfilling and impactful career path.
