Personal Statement

My goal is to attend a college where I can excel both academically and athletically. I’m passionate about football, but I also understand the importance of academics. I’m planning to pursue a career in physical therapy or teaching, so earning my degree while competing at a high level is a top priority for me. I want to be part of a team that values hard work, discipline, and respect—qualities that I bring both on and off the field.

Like any athlete, I dream of making it to the NFL. I know the odds are slim, but I’m hopeful that with the right program and coach who focuses on developing their athletes, I can be one of the ones who makes it. I’m not just waiting for an opportunity—I’m putting in the work now, and by the time I reach the collegiate level, I’ll be ready to contribute and compete at a high level. I have the talent, mindset, and work ethic to perform at the D1 FBS level and am committed to improving every day to reach my full potential.

I’m a quiet leader who may not always be the loudest voice in the room, but I lead by example. Coaches might see me as reserved, but I’m someone who gets the job done. I work hard, push myself, and support my teammates. I care about helping others, especially younger athletes, and have volunteered my time mentoring and teaching kids the importance of sports and education.

What makes me different is my balance of respect for the game, strong work ethic, and commitment to my academics. I know that football isn’t forever, but the lessons I learn and the degree I earn will set me up for success beyond sports. I’m ready to contribute to your team and am looking for a program that values dedication, teamwork, and academic success as much as I do.
