Personal Statement

My name is James Driggers and I play for LOB Elite out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have had a basketball in my hands since I started kindergarten. I believe that hard work, grit and work ethic play a big part in my game on the court and my dedication to my studies in the classroom.  This year I have taken on honors classes to challenge myself in the classroom and strive to increase my GPA beyond a 3.6. Through many years of growth and dedication to the game, I have learned and believe that in order to reach success I must create an environment that is cohesive with the team on the court, which requires time, commitment and communication. However, I believe that my commitment to get better at basketball every day through coaching and feedback and my drive to perfect my game sets me apart. I am striving to continue my educational and basketball career at a school that will challenge me academically and on the court.
