The Rampants qualified all seven of its players for Friday and Saturday’s East Regional in Rocky Mount, but it was South Central’s Henry Austin who claimed the singles title, topping Rose’s Stockton Rouse in the final, 6-3, 6-3.

Personal Statement


My collegiate goals are to play and support the team both from a player’s role and be an academic asset to the team. I want to contribute to the team by playing in the spot where the coaching staff feels I can make the most impact. I enjoy leadership roles and thrive in pressure situations on and off the court. I enjoy challenges and problem-solving, and I work well in group settings with others. I strive to meet my coach's expectations and I am a student of the game, always wanting to learn more about the game of tennis. I take pride in excelling in the classroom, as exemplified by my grades and coursework. I maintain a rigorous academic and practice schedule to further my education and performance as a student-athlete.
