Personal Statement

My collegiate goal to be a student-athlete is something that I keep my sights on every single day. Whether in test preparations, baseball training, strength and conditioning, or when building mental toughness and leadership, I hold tight to my goal of playing collegiate baseball and excelling in the classroom. I started working on my athleticism and mental strength at a young age, fighting nationally and internationally in taekwondo tournaments around the world. My foundation of discipline and work ethic started there, and I have brought the same elements of hard work and focus to baseball. I also have excellent role-models in my mother who was a Division I athlete (Boston College Women's Golf), as well as my father (William Paterson Soccer), grandfather (Norwich Football, Baseball), and great-grandfather who were all athletes (my great grandfather being a catcher for the Chicago White Sox). I pride myself on my positivity, coachability, and my sheer passion to continue my athletic journey.
