Personal Statement

In society today social media and publicity has taken over, and a majority of players have themselves dedicated to the idea of football instead of devoting themseves to football. That’s where I find myself separated from the players around me, I am drawn towards my faith and how I am using football as a way to show others God undefined love and mercy, I hope one day I can be an example to show Him though my work and my passion. Ever since I was born I’ve been so drawn towards the sport of football as my dad played in the nfl. My first year of life was traveling all over for supporting him. As I grew up I begin to develop a love for football unlike everything else in my life. Ever since I’ve been able to, I’ve devoted myself to football and perfecting myself as an athlete. I have worked my craft to the point my family members and friends are telling me I work too hard and I need to take a break. But for me, I know haven’t given enough and this is just the start of my work. For me, football is more than just a game, it is my life, it is my purpose, and it is what I wanna take to the next levels. For I know God has a plan for me and I am following the path he has set for me, and I believe my call is to football. The opportunity to play at the college level and the steps after that would be a gift from God and I plan to prove myself time and time again until an opportunity has presented itself to me.
